Mainland High School, in Daytona Beach, Florida, served as the coordinating
hubsite for this 5-year grant. As part of the grant, Mainland's physics students
have had the unique opportunity of participating in the development and implementation of
a web-based physics program.
Beginning with the very first day of school
five years ago, the daily routine for Mainland's physics students starts by sitting down in front of
one of the fifteen computer-lab stations in the physics lab to reference the "daily
agenda" for their class.

I feel that participating and learning physics through this new medium has enabled me to
benefit doubly by acquiring academic and technological skills at the same time.
