This is a summary comparing student responses to each of the survey
questions asked of physics students at Mainland High School who participated in the
PhysicsLAB project during the first two years of the DOE Challenge Grant. In addition to
these questions which were rated by each student, there were also free response questions.
These answers can be accessed for each respective year: 1997-1998 and 1998-1999 In
each chart, the left-hand (maroon) column shows the student responses on the 1997-1998
survey; while those in the right-hand (dark green) column are the student responses from
this year's 1998-1999 survey.
